Several posts back I linked to Carter II’s website page that had a statement about his desire to renew the Clinton assault weapon ban. Guess what? The link is now 404. Go figure.
If you check the wayback machine you will also see that it is not there. google still had it cached when I looked a few minutes ago.

Scary how there seems to be a pattern of the president elect purging information (as well as people) that create controversy.
If he’s modifying his stance because his constituents have spoken, then it would be a good thing it disappeard from the page. Of course, we all know that’s not it, and he’s just being sneaky. His people have got to be incredibly naive if they think we’ll just say, “Oh, never mind. It’s not there anymore. Everything’s okay.”
