April 15 will be…:::drum roll::: the fifteenth anniversary of this blog. I do believe that might make me the longest running blog about preparedness that is still active.

Congrats Z on 15th Anniv. I am somewhat surprised that survivalbolg ( JWR site has not been longer ) but do love your ascerbic wit and your total commitment to the prepping community and survival related topics. Keep it up. Prep on.

Do a 15th anniversary re-visit on some of those early prepped posts. It’d be interesting to review what the ‘threats’ were then, versus now!
last summer I opened up a box of old Survival Guide magazines from the 80’s and the same threats from then are basically the same threats we have now – except for one. The Active Shooter/killer. Back then it was called workplace violence or ‘going postal’. It was pretty amazing to re-read a lot of them. A lot of the preparedness techniques are the same, but the technology has made it a lot easier.
If its not Blue Bell ice cream, it won’t be much of a celebration. Wish I could send you some. Congratulations nevertheless and thanks for all the info and ideas you have put out.
