Interesting times

I don’t remember ordering up a burgeoning race war.

I’m not going to say that I’m not a conspiracy guy, but I don’t think I’m a tinfoil hat wearer either. But, when someone says “oh, thats just crazy talk…you know how those people are” I get curious and want to examine things for myself. :::shrug::: I’m a very inquisitive person.

The prevailing conspiracy theories out there are that, since this is an election year, there needs to be a significant amount of sturm and drang to sink any hope of the President getting re-elected. Does that mean that I think ‘They’ created a virus and released it to sink an election? Does that mean I think they got a buncha cops to kill a black guy on camera? No, I don’t. But what I do think is that there are factions that “don’t let a crisis go to waste” and, perhaps, exploit these events more than they normally would have if someone else were President.

I’ll bet this is the sort of thing that comes in threes…. there’s some other crisis out there, I’m sure, just waiting to get tagged as We Warned You That He Would Cause This. China? Earthquake? Mass Shooting? Your guess is as good as mine. We shall see.

  1. Well what CAN they do? All the schools are closed so that means they cant have a school shooting. Didnt think that one thru, didya libtards?

  2. Opportunists are what these people are, some political and some criminal! Every revolution starts out as an otherwise insignificant event. It’s how the opportunists, in this case Antifa and other socialist movements exploit it to further their agenda is to be seen. I think they will keep this fire burning long enough to create an even worse economic crises that started with virus lockdown. Make no mistake these people are fighting a revolution, we have to understand that right now or they will roll right over us just like the socialist have done in every other country in the world where they have seized power. These people do not play by the rules. As a LEO, I understand and know LE can not protect everyone from these people, there are just to few of us. At the end of the day it’s your responsible to protect your family. These are most certainly “Interesting Times”, and we may very well be witnessing the beginning of the end of our Republic.

  3. Exactly.
Not letting a crisis go to waste: 24/7/365.
Lunatard conspiracy theories: Almost never, in recorded history.
William of Ockham approved this message.

    • In addition, there is the maxim of “never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by stupidity”.

      Still, the sequencing is attractive. (impeachment->impeachment fail->WuFlu->Wuflu fizzle->Black Guy killed->RIOT! {plural})

Attractive, not probative. I await evidence to (support)(repudiate) the assertion that the sequencing is indeed adversary action.

  4. I love that “Donald Drumph caused this” in a blue state with a Libcrat Governor & in a city with a Libcrat mayor.
People can talk themselves into believing anything.

    • They believe it because the media told them so. The media is their church, the universities their temples, Trump and/or Hitler their devil, dindunuffins their saints, and equality their god. They irrationally believe it with religious fervor, because it is their religion. I’m rather religious so it’s easy to spot the mindset.

  5. If that’s the purpose of this crisis I think they have chosen poorly yet again.
How many non-political types are going to see all this rioting and violence and want to side with the folks who are making non-stop excuses for it?
    My guess is not many.

  6. The real leaders of this are well trained and financed, nothing organic is happening in the streets. Lots of really serious money is being spent to put on this operation nation wide. Their ability to muster up and deliver their troops in such a short time is impressive and to be honest, scary.

  7. I was just noting a few days ago that since the stay at home order was lifted in my state, the number of homicides spiked up well above average. There is some pent up energy, of the wrong kind, just waiting for an excuse to have a little mayhem. Also interesting that the rioting today here in Columbia, SC, was noted by police to have been incited by people at the protest who live nowhere near Columbia. Out of towners who think throwing rocks at car windows and people is a good bit of fun. I support the right to peaceful protest, but some folks are hijacking these efforts.

  8. As usual these folks are destroying their own neighborhoods and the riots are occurring mostly in extremely liberal cities controlled by the Blue Team. Areas where Trump has no chance of winning to begin with. Perhaps this will cause some of those libtards to rethink their orientation and vote fore the other team… Then of course having had the misfortune of living in MNPSP for three years I doubt it… Still, tough for them to come up with a way to blame the POTUS since it was the home team doing the deed but I’m sure they’ll try…

As for me, I think Ima go out and watch the lightning bugs – they’re out thick tonight.

    Regards

  9. Wow- yet another reason to avoid big cities- add it to the list. I think there are probably provocateurs on all sides- left, right, state- exploiting the chaos for various reasons. Its not hard to make legit protesters look like psycho rioters with just a few fires and broken windows, escalation guaranteed. Sure is sweet serendipity that mask wearing is all the rage these days- no way to ID the perps. One thing is for sure- this whole thing is a media creation. No way any of this goes down without the complicity of both legacy and digital media.

  10. God Bless you man! Gotta have a sense of humor! LOL!

The police officer responsible has been arrested for murder, I’m not sure what more the protesters want. From what I’ve seen that officer should be right where he is – staring at life behind bars – if he is lucky.

I agree with you that there are certain factions of society that want to “make the most” of our current bad situations. The difference is I’m not going to ecpect a President to fix a global pandemic, I’m also not going to a President to stop individual murderers. The pandemic is happening and will happen, take responsibility for your own safety. The police officer(s) responsible for the death of George Floyd are going to be brought to justice. Whomever let that officer remain on active duty within the department after so many questionable incidents and complaints should be questioned as well. They allowed public safety to be put at risk – to the tragic end of Mr. Floyd.

Are the violent protesters and looters going to be held accountable? Almost certainly not.

  11. I agree that there doesn’t need to be a conspiracy here – there are many groups with similar goals, some of which have been expressed in the lockdowns, others in the rioting.
This makes me wonder – what is next? Got any ideas of what we should watch out for?

    • Well, the Covid thing was ind of a Black Swan, I think…..I don’t think anyone could have really predicted it. Whats next? Mmmm… in order: mass shooting or bombing, earthquake, tornado, death of someone noteworthy (Ginsburg?).

  12. OK, let’s burn down the Post Office and the Bank. I am So angry! Sure am glad I get my money direct deposit. Oh wait, I need to go to the Bank! Free TVs at Walmart. Nothing is for free. The workers will pay for it in the end of the day.

    • I don’t believe this action has anything to do with anger, this goes further than that. This is another probe, a much deeper one, into the amount of disruption we are willing to tolerate. This is the organized arm of disillusioned Bernie bros financed by several of G. Soros ‘s charities for change. Revolution is in the air and the murder of Floyd is just a convenient opportunity, remember ” never let an opportunity go to waste “.

  13. Conspiracy or not, there’s no such thing as a coincidence
when it comes to politics…like it or not…actions are taken
in order to take advantage, as well as propel, an agenda.
So with that being said, YES, the latest turmoil, the riots,
are being pushed. Just as the thought, that’s being expressed
by the author, we’re witnessing the latest attack on our Republic.
Remember friends, “Cloward and Piven”, to overwhelm and
over run in order to bring down and crash a system…
And YES, we’ll witness another attack, similar to all the previous,
different, but moving towards the same conclusion…
They have too much to lose if Trump remains in office.
If they win, it’ll all be swept away. Then the real terror begins.
Prepare, arm, and equip. The future will be here sooner than
you realize…those who fail to prepare, well, they’ll be out of luck.
Actually, like Rexer used to say, “it’s later than you think.”

  14. WRT not being able to identify the rioters because of masks, that’s just not true. If they want you bad enough, there are tremendous resources that can be brought to bear.

Just in Houston, there was an article admitting that they identified the gangbangers who robbed a gun store by the distressing and creases in their jeans, identified individuals by their shoes, and all from the video of a mass of guys in hoodies.

The can and do track bluetooth in phones, tablets, and cars for a variety of reasons and since it’s commercially available, investigators can get it.

Under the “Smart Cities” initiatives, many if not all major cities have installed cameras and recording systems capable of “video analytics” that are frankly just like movie plots. (Show me all the video of males with backpacks, or show me all the video of males with hats, kind of stuff.) In addition, they’re monitoring and recording tweets, instagrams, live streams, FB accounts and data mining that. They can track persons of interest back out of the area until they get a license plate or a pic without the mask.

It all comes down to how badly they want to get the person. Since many of these places are Democrat run shitholes, with a ‘let them get their riot on’ attitude, it’s going to take a really serious crime to lead to prosecution.

    • yup. remember they need crime to collect more taxes. the criminal and mis-guided youth serve their purpose perfectly. example are when hard times come, the Police, FIRE and EMS is first to be cut. why, the good paying citizen will open their pocket books when response times double or triple. cities who build their budgets off property tax revenues in bubbles…states like CA you can protest the assessed value of real property in falling market. then add in short sales and foreclosures which lower the taxable property value. a budget that is not sustainable. all this reminds my of the ending scene of the movie Snowpiecer. as for these riots…I had a long time LASD deputy tell me that they knew which building were gonna burn during King riots…they were marked days ahead. throw in a few black owned business to make it seem like it was not race related…some how the news always finds that black business man at his looted or burned out business…like clock work. something else to consider is all these so called right wing…Bundy’s, Joey Gibson, and all these Antifa vs Patriots street battles. they all are serving their purpose. stir the pot.

  15. both Chauvin and Floyd worked at a nightclub together, the Floyd family lawer admitted it on face the nation. seems there might be more to the story.
