WTH, Lincoln’s first Inaugural was on March 4, 1861, and even after the Confederacy had all seceded, Fort Sumter wasn’t attacked until April 12, some six weeks later.
I wouldn’t be looking to the 24-hour news cycle, with the attendant attention span of a gnat, to see when things might happen. Most of the parties in play are still working off their post-inauguration commiseration drunk yet, hoping against hope for any sort of last-second reprieve.

Thats a government-level campaign though. In terms of a ‘partisan-level’ one, I can’t think of any that brewed that long before launching. Most of the ones I can think of were, at most, four or five years. With many of them being three or less.

Aside from bursting into the Capital building unarmed and dancing around like idiots with stolen coat racks for Instagram pics the right has no fight in them. Now all of those folks are going to jail and will never be permitted to on firearms again and the Dems have the event they need to push through all kinds of draconian “domestic terrorism laws” that will make the Patriot Act look like Ayn Rand wrote it. If any of the conservatives had a line it would have been crossed years ago over any number of transgressions from removing prayer from school to the 1994 AWB but again the patriot/sheepdog/3%/I just like role playing with my buddies in the woods on the weekend crowd’s biggest success was taking over a remote wildlife refuge a few January’s ago and just ask LaVoy Finicum how that worked out. The truth hurts.
I figure we probably have at least two years before anything irreversible kicks off depending on how much the news and social media stir the pot. It ultimately comes down to if the next congressional and Senate elections show more voting irregularities. Most people are upset because they believe they donât have a voice at the ballot box anymore, if that truly becomes clear then weâre in trouble.
It won’t take that long. As of today Bejing Biden ordered an invasion of Syria. Still using the Obama foreign policy that was misguided and shown by DJT to be ineffective.
And just so you know. Listening to one of the prime talk shows tonight. A lot of Union workers in the oil fields and especially working on the Keystone XL pipeline called in and they are livid. Layoffs started yesterday. Bite me will be a wrecking ball to the economy. His record as the dumbest man to serve in the Senate and the most idiotic Vice President are intact. Now he is going for the Trifecta and add the dumbest POTUS to his undistinguished failed career.
