{"id":529,"date":"2007-03-01T06:44:00","date_gmt":"2007-03-01T06:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.commanderzero.com\/2007\/03\/01\/camillus-closing\/"},"modified":"2007-03-01T06:44:00","modified_gmt":"2007-03-01T06:44:00","slug":"camillus-closing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commanderzero.com\/?p=529","title":{"rendered":"Camillus closing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I predicted\/forecasted\/warned, the folks at Camillus have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/poststandard\/stories\/index.ssf?\/base\/business-7\/1172657045127490.xml&#038;coll=1\">closed their doors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, I did get not one but two of the <a href=\"http:\/\/commander-zero.livejournal.com\/115762.html\">knives I wanted<\/a> from them. <\/p>\n<p>BUT&#8230;I still need the TacTool.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/us.st11.yimg.com\/us.st.yimg.com\/I\/yhst-20569297908511_1937_10755367\"><\/p>\n<p>Its sad that these good American knife companies are going under. I was in WallyWorld the other day and even some of the Buck and Gerber knives are mafe in China. Even if the Chinese did make quality stuff, I&#8217;d avoid it just on principle. <\/p>\n<p>I think KaBar might be the last choice for a large sheath knife thats US made. We&#8217;ll see.
