I’m especially interested in the Unitized Group Ration – Express. I’m rather fascinated by the concept of a cardboard box of rations where you open it up, pull the rip cord, and a half hour later you and your squaddies have a hot meal.

Any good leads on NATO jerry cans? Grouch-o has been out for some time. Jerry can dot com has them for ~$75 each. Hoping to find some more reasonably priced.
I usually go to Lexington Containers but apparently $75~ is the new norm for these things. eBay, perhaps? But be wary of knock-offs.

Those look like the real deal, but they’re stamped with “not for fuel use”?……..
“not for fuel use” I believe is necessary in the US because they are not painted red. Solution: paint them red when you get them
