Remaining mags

I have four packages of the 14-for-$100 Butler Creek Hot Lips .22 mags sitting here if anyone wants to take ’em off my hands. Already got rid of all the Steel Lips, I’d like to wrap up the Hot Lips and move on.

  1. I am interested in your 10/22 mags, but I don’t really need a package of 14.
Would you sell me, say, 5 or 6? If so, how much?
    How would I pay you?

Are the plastic feed lips somehow less reliable than the steel ones, or is that just a preference?

    • Sadly, theyre already all bundled up and boxed as packages of 14…so I’m not really keen on breaking them up into smaller units. Usually I just email people an invoice they can pay through email with a bank card.

    • Rob I feel your pain… How in hell can I justify just over 60 mags for the two 10/22s I own? Simple… I plan to trade some, and if I never do? Well they will make great Christmas gifts. ‘Oh darn Lucas! I thought you already had a 10/22, well shucks I guess you’ll have to get one now in the after Christmas sales!’

I’ve not had a problem with the hot lips from CZ… not these or the last ones I bought a year or more ago.

I think with these mags it’s a preference thing. Sorta like how CZ prefers the steel lips on factory Glock mags as opposed to the plastic lips on the Magpuls. The Magpuls work excellent in my 9mm barrels. But I’m not going to try to convince you of the quality of either, I can simply say my experience has not been better or worse with steel lips or hot lips, factory or Magpul.
