AK mags

You guys remember this from six months ago? Well, a similar deal has arrived.

Last time was the Tapco Intrafuse 20-rd AK mags, 10/$100 inc. shipping.

Same deal, same price, but this time they are 30-rd mags in FDE/Desert/Beige/Coyote or whatever they call that sandy color these days.

So: Ten 30-rd mags for $100, delivered. Or, put another way, 50% more capacity for 0% more in price.

Ten of ’em fit in a Medium Flat Rate box, to all 50 states..including the usually-expensive-to-ship-to Hawaii and Alaska. Email me for an invoice you can pay online and start socking ’em away.

  1. Not sure the quality of these mags, but the Butler Creek Hot Lips you hawked a few months back were absolute junk. Not a single magazine had a tight spring. Hopefully Butler Creek will do me a one for one exchange on their one year warranty.

    • What? Really? I am absolutely surprised. I moved almost a thousand of those things and havent heard a single bad word about them. I’m curious..what was the exact problem? What gun were you using them in ? With what ammo? Were these the Steel Lips or the Hot Lips?

      • Wasn’t trying to slam your contributions to the greater good by offering these great deals and service. These are fantastic deals and your hard work putting them together is amazing.

On one magazine the follower arrived settled down about 3 rounds deep, not flush with the feed lips. Tried feeding it and unloading it a few times by hand to reset the spring, no luck. On 3-4 others, the spring is so loose the last round falls out. I gifted 6 others (empty) without checking first. Will hopefully get some range reports in the near future. .22 is usually not the first caliber to go in the range bag so it may be a bit before we get through them all.

Still happy about the price. If 10 out of 14 end up winners, it is a good deal. I have other BC, steel and plastic, that shoot and feed smooth and consistent. Hopefully I just pulled and checked the 4-5 questionable ones right off the bat. I also went through this on my mini-14 and with Ruger, factory mags are always king.

My personal 10/22s are a sporter and a charger pistol.

Great blog, keep up the good work! This isn’t a deal breaker on future orders, just a big bummer on the BCs and I have my fingers crossed that the gifted ones are reliable.

  2. I have been using Tapco Mags for my AK’s for years, i have never had an issue with them…..
