  1. As a Canadian, I’m subject to more Draconian gun laws and more liberal gun laws than the United States because… Canada.

I got lucky regarding extended 1022 mags. Three years ago, I was looking around a gun shop and spotted some Butler Creek extended mags on sale. On a whim, I picked up 6 and walked away smiling. A few months later, the RCMP came out with an edict that all 1022 magazines which were more than 10 rounds were prohibited meaning they had to be pinned at 10 or turned in to be destroyed. Some RCMP backroom gnome discovered the Ruger Charger was a 1022 in pistol form and in Canada all semi auto pistols are limited to 10 rounds thus the prohibition edict. Now the mags are all put away for a time that I hope never comes.

    • When I lived in a restricted state, I bought ones that had a pin in them limiting capacity – in time of need, a pair of pliers could quickly remove the pin and restore full capacity. I thought it was a neat workaround.

  2. Surprisingly the pro 2A ruling came from the 9th Circus Court of Appeals. But then DJT has made several Conservative appointments to that court. It appears to be working.
I still think it should be broken up into three smaller courts. It covers to many states and has to many judges. Twenty seven if memory serves. The most overturned court in the country.

  3. It’s not an April fools joke and I don’t trust the leftist and the 9th circuit to re-restrict but there are curently MILLIONS of standard capacity magazines flooding into CA. I know I placed some orders and buying cheap and stacking deep. Good news can be hard to come by but we got a little bit more free last week and after 19 years of the rule of 10 or less this feels good!!

  4. It would be GREAT if this becomes a national policy and forces back laws in many restricted states. But I am doubtful it will go that far – I suspect it will be limited to allowing people to keep existing magazines.

  5. Stacked more mags and ammo but the “rush” was 170 pounds of fresh pork in various cuts. In the deep freezer and very happy. Was a good pig stalk.
