  1. Aww, $2.72 plus tax near me for the two-packs. That’s close enough to the price of the big boxes of them for me not to bite. $1.89 is a smoking deal!

  2. I avoid Surefire brand CR 123 batteries. Had a bunch (rainy day stock), new-in-box, pre outdate, that were duds. Contacted Sure Fire, unsatisfactory response.

Nowadays I’m working through my stash of Titanium brand, from Battery Junction out of Connecticut. Never a dud, price is good, but Chinese. I’m migrating into Energizer. Made in USA, none of the Duracell leaky-early demise-other malarkey.

  3. Just cleaned out the Spokane Valley store. $40 out the door for 2×12 pack and 3×2 pack. Thanks for the tip.

  4. Thanks for the heads up. One thing, don’t forget to check the expiry dates. Remember, there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch. These businesses are not charities.

  5. Double thanks for the info! Went over there and picked up twenty 2-packs with June 2029 expiration date; 1.99/pack

  6. Great heads up. Scored (3) 12 packs.
    Also I just bought (2) 12 packs of the Streamlight CR123 a few weeks ago from officerstore.com / thefirestore.com

    Anyone have experience with them?

My security system’s wireless instruments use the CR123. So between those & my lights, I can’t go wrong when prices are right.

    Thanks again

  7. My Lowes at them for 1.49 for a 2 pack. The other Lowed in town was 1.99, You can check online for how many they have in stock, and order and pay to make sure you get them before anyone else, then just pick up at the store.

    • On line it said only 2 packs available but when I got there. The 12 packs were hanging there. Online said isle 23 which did not exist. Just saying, worth stopping in if passing by. Regardless of what it says for store inventory online.
