  1. If you got a one ton truck with an 8’x10′ flatbed, and your ammo supply wont fill up the bed – you ain’t got enough. If it does fill up the bed, maybe! But you’re probably still short a few thousand pounds.

    • Ah, if your ammo does fill up the bed you are going to break off the wheels on a one ton. There is a reason an Army 2 1/2 ton truck will hall 5 tons.

  2. Brit battle packs at the bottom? Nice find, haven’t seen them in my haunts for quite some time. I miss the good old days when Hirt could be found for a decent price.

  3. Those vinyl bags of South African, Portuguese, or whatever on top are going to fall when you tilt it. Don’t ask me how I know.

  4. I make it out as somewhere between 5,200 & 6,000 rounds, which is more than you’ll find at any of the local shops in my AO. You’d have to raid someone’s house to get a haul like that & I don’t think there’s too many people with that kind of personal stash around here. There’s preppers & shooters both in the local area but mostly poverty preppers & not too many serious shooters. Most of the shooters here think 200 rounds “is plenty” which scares the beejeesus outta me ‘cause, depending on what & who we’re taking that day, 200 rounds isn’t even range ammo for me & The Dear Wife.

    • Porkypine, 200rd.s. I know what you mean. Have spent over a decade trying to get my bro-n-law to increase his amount from 200 rd.s per caliber! He had a large Pantifa event 1/4 mile from his house and finally saw the wisdom.

  5. Oh man! I thought that the South African battle packs had all been sold/shot long ago. I still have a couple in 7.62 NATO which are being saved for “der tag”.

Pity you didn’t get the brown plastic ammo crate they came in. They are extremely handy.
