Dagger? I hardly even know her!

So, how much do I like those Palmetto Dagger pistols? Well, let’s put the money where the mouth is:

Yup. That much.

I won’t say its 100% a Glock-by-another-name, but it’s 95% a Glock. At, in this case, almost half the Glock price. And uses my existing logistics infrastructure. For the money, these are quite the value. It seems like every week theres a sale with a complete slide/barre/spring package for $200 and then theres some ‘blem’ frames for $60. Shoot, man…for $260 you can’t go wrong.

Anyway, just a quick pic to show that if you like something…well…one is none.

  1. I hope that you have better luck than I did.

I put 50 rounds through mine, then with a snap cap, dry-fired it probably another 300 times and had the striker break on me.

It took PSA about 6 weeks to send me another one, but since I was a little leery about the quality of the weapon after that, I went ahead and traded it off.

    Your mileage may vary.

    • Well, on the bright side, I have spares of the pistol to use for parts….

  2. I used to think I might have to many guns ( I know but occasionally that thought popped in my head) but what I have pales in comparison to what the Zero has!

Clearly in the post collapse economy you could be a weapons merchant extrordinaire. .

  3. Might serve very well as a squirrel-away pistol. Ten mags and 250 rounds of ammo. Yep that works.

  4. What have you found for holsters? Especially interested in the Dagger compact with RMR.

    Thanks.
