WASHINGTON − Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, was hospitalized June 25, after feeling lightheaded in the gym, according to his office.

“Out of an abundance of caution, he went to the hospital to be treated for dehydration and is now back at work in the Capitol,” Schumer’s press secretary, Allison Biasotti, said in a statement.

“I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.”

    • THere is a bit of dispute who actually made the statement….Mark Twai, Will Rogers, etc, etc.

  2. I don’t know. Schumer knows he is in the crosshairs from newly elected persons which are Socialist in nature and by fellow Democrats who grow impatient with his inability to stop Trump. Smells like Despiration to me. Like Pelosi – Sanders, their time is sunsetting and they know it.

    • Might be a “Peace With Honor” strategy. He goes in for heat stroke, announces some obscure non-symptomatic illness and has to retire for health reasons and spend more time with the family. Lets him bow out gracefully. Especially of that Westchester Commie, AOC, decides she wants to move up.
