  1. Following. These are good data point / Intel photos in addition to the cute quotient. The bears I kinda would not want around as they may tear up your camp and staging areas looking for food or digging around “your yard” due to scents in the areas. Run them bums off every chance. Maybe use an area or travel route that is out of the way for a food plot plantings area for them to have a grocery pit stop in your a.o. A mineral lick block or such left for them will easily train them to “make a visit” to you for just small or little treats occasionally and that can become literally your herd. Yeah, game laws etc etc. But it is your yard now so set up no go zones f
or bears and out of the way truck stops for the deer to visit. You are the master of the domain, make it all yours.

    Stay frosty out there.

  2. If they are as placid as that, consider bowhunting. Consult the Ashby Broadhead Trials. A properly bowshot critter usually doesn’t even know it has been slain, and bleeds out quietly rather than running off to the neighbour’s plot, or into the void. Also saves valuable firearm ammunition and doesn’t advertise your armed presence or the prospect of fresh meat.
