  1. ACtually given the cargo space still there, the lower weight and the extra greeblies, it’s pretty darn efficient I’d bet. Only thing it needs over and above what it has are some tool stowage boxes on the roll bars (in the cage) and a front perimeter roll cage that wraps around the fender and to the front bumper. That way you can REALLY roll it with out a great deal of headache so to speak.

  2. Think this with out the tanks and the Fire Engine Red…

    Really Go Anywhere capability…. 😉

Add a shelter and you can haul the GF and FatCat around no problem. 😉

  3. Sweet. Many of the vehicles in the Road Warrior were mod’ed Toyota’s.
Strategically thinking, when TEOTWAWKI rolls around, Threat elements might be rolling in such a rig.

  4. I am amused that the same person who gets peeved when he has to scroll past a long text entry or multiple pictures of ugly children is now causing my friends list to scroll left-right. Have you changed your policy on LJ-cuts? 😛

  5. I have a 98 Tacoma, and couldn’t be happier man. It just came in damn useful while traveling the tornado affected terrain in New Smyrna.

Roll bars added that I made myself, along with the racing package and a hardened off-road suspension. I raised it a bit and put 16 inch all-terrian T/A tires on. It’s a V6 gasoline engine, but fairly efficient. It’s painted black. These things are tough, I once drove it through water up to mid-door (3 feet deep?) for about 50 feet.

  6. have seen

a dodge pickup rebuilt to something like that back in 96′. it is often if you can’t find it or afford it, you create your own “dream machine” . wonder what his miles per gallon is? Wildflower 07

  7. That was a perfectly reasonable question, given how you’ve written multiple posts and comments about the proper use of LJ-cut. 😛
