Price changes

A couple months ago, just to be safe, I ordered some complete AR lowers from Palmetto. Price? $250 ea. Just ordered some factory blems, with Magpul stock/grips, for….$150 ea.

Things are changing, guys.

  1. It’s not over yet, but I agree. At the peak in my area, 9MM was going for 60 cents per round. Now, I can routinely find it in the 40-45 cent range. I too ordered from PSA and have since seen the price lower. No regrets. At the time, I thought there was a very good chance it might be the last firearm purchase I ever made. I doubt that we will see 19 cent ammo again, but I’m being careful with my purchases on the way down.

    • “….it might be the last firearm purchase I ever made.”

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Ayuh, #metoo. 3, in June alone. The year is still young.

    • Last weekend bought 2000 rounds of 38 special for $15 a box.
Wanna-be ammo vendor needed to find a home for his previous $50 a box .38s……………………..

  2. picked up couple of stripped lowers for 49 each, and they didn’t sell out in ten minutes. lpk’s went from unobtainium to 34 bucks. bolts are back down to 84 bucks. good times if you’re an ar builder. ammo is a whole nother animal. mags getting cheap too tho.

  3. I saw last week in a LGS they had a stack of Anderson Lowers , I didn’t ask about pricing I’ll go back this week and see , They did have ammo and a good amount of it , Not to salty on price .

  4. At the Ruger website, the prices on some of their firearms and accessories have went up in the last month. The price on the Vortex Diamondback scope went from $200 to $350.

  5. I got an email yesterday for some 9mm and it was 22.00 for 50 rounds of FMJ. It is now only at 100 percent over pre-Covid-19 prices. Where it was between 500 and 600 percent a few months ago. Maybe we can stabilize at roughly 50 percent or 15.00 per 50 round box by end of 2021.

    • Yes! Let’s stabilize our universe so I can figure out how to deal with it moving forward.

  6. 9mm is averaging .61 to .65 cents a round and is becoming more available. 5.56, .308, and .45ACP is not as available and now 12 gauge is becoming scarce. But, all prices when available are less than a few months ago.

  7. Yep, noticed the price. Thought it might be a good purchase for the next “what if”.

  8. The real bargain these days is complete AR pistol lowers with blade-style arm braces. I’ve seen them for as little as $99 each. They are worth buying, just to switch to a standard M4 buffer tube and M4 stock.
